A Muslim man from Madhya Pradesh was arrested for alleging a 19 -year -old nursing student, a Hindu, and threatening her acid attack if she does not convert to Islam and did not marry.
Monu Mansoi, 22, would have confronted the woman on Monday and wrapped flowers on her. The incident was reported in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Police said that he also threatened another woman in January this year, after which he was imprisoned. He was released under bail later.
In the last case, the woman and Monu Mansoi are residents of the same village. The nursing student of her complaint for the police said that he had somehow obtained his number and even cracked on WhatsApp that he would kill her if she refused her marriage proposal.

Police said Monu Mansoi had been arrested under Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act and the Indian Criminal Code. The law of Madhya Pradesh seeks to punish religious conversion by fraud, in particular for marriage, and provides up to 10 years in prison.
The nursing student shouted for help when Monu Mansoi, after having fallen behind her, doubled flowers on her head near a college, the police said. Before fleeing, he threatened it with acid attack if it did not convert to Islam and married it, police said.
The woman then asked for help from a Hindu organization and filed a complaint with the police.
