On Amitabh Bachchan’s 80th birthday, Bollywood stars wished the veteran actor on Tuesday. Some actors dug out precious throwback moments from their photo archives to wish the legend on his birthday. Raveena posted a throwback picture of herself with Amitabh Bachchan and her late filmmaker father Ravi Tandon. The picture happens to be from Raveena’s childhood days. She captioned the post: “Happy, happy birthday and love Amitabh Bachchan Sir! Wishing you health, happiness and love always. Legend will always be in awe, since then to now, no one was, or will ever be you.”

Anil Kapoor, sharing a series of throwback pictures, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, wrote in his caption: “Happy 80th Birthday Amitabh Bachchan. Here’s to shared memories over the years! Wishing you all the health and happiness always.”

Bhagyashree dug out a throwback picture from the sets of Payal to wish Amitabh Bachchan. She wrote: “Happy birthday Amitabh Bachchan. An idol, a crush, an actor par excellence and a phoenix for sure. You have overcome many obstacles in your life and I sincerely wish you health and happiness on your big day. This pic is from our film Payal, way back in the 90’s, when you gave the clap.”

Shilpa Shetty also posted a couple of throwback pictures with Amitabh Bachchan and she wrote: “From a mentor to a legend, From an inspiration to an icon…In these eight decades of your glorious life, There’s not a single heart that you didn’t win. Happiest Birthday to you, Amit ji.”

Amitabh Bachchan has super busy schedule. He currently hosts the 14th season of the TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He was seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Nagarjuna last month. He was last seen in Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati and Sunil Grover.

Big B’s upcoming projects include the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern, along with Deepika Padukone. Earlier, late actor Rishi Kapoor was to star in the film. He will also be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai and a Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
