Female leopard rescued by the Maharashtra forest department

A leopard of 3 to 4 years has been rescued by the Nashik forest department today, said an officer.

Ganesh Rao Jhole, forest officer speaking to Ani, said: “A leopard woman was rescued by our team in the Nashik Déolali camp region. He is about 3-4 years old and is in good health. We will free up in A forest soon. ”

Earlier Monday, the West forest department had apprehended four people from Nashik, as part of the smuggling of Leopard’s skin.

Pankaj Garg, the deputy forest curator, said on Monday: “The West forest department has apprehended the smuggled leopard skin smugglers abolished in Nashik.

Four accused have been caught with leopard skin. We are doing the interrogation and will try to investigate if they have any international links.”
