Why redesign it?
Over the years, Rajpath and the adjacent areas of Central Vista Avenue have attacked the growing traffic of visitors.

Basic equipment – such as public toilets, drinking water, street furniture and adequate parking space – were not available. There was an inadequate signaling, poor maintenance of the characteristics of the water and a random parking in the region, adding to the chaos.

In addition, a larger and well -organized space was necessary for national events to be held in a less disruptive way, with minimum restrictions on the public movement.

The redevelopment aims to solve all these problems while guaranteeing the integrity and continuity of the architectural character of the region.
